Who we are
PhotoAlbum is an event photo-delivery service. The data controller is the PhotoAlbum team. For any privacy question, contact Uttam Shah at snapziemail@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Guests (no account) β when you request access to an event, we ask for your name, email and phone. Your photographer sees this so they know who has their photos.
- Guests with a PhotoAlbum account β everything above, plus a password (stored as an irreversible BCrypt hash, never in plain text).
- Photographers β email, password hash, name, and the photos + events you create.
- Photos & videos β content photographers upload, and content guests submit to an event host for review.
- Face-recognition selfies β used only to compute a numeric face signature in memory, matched against photos in that one event. Your raw selfie is not saved, and the signature is discarded when your session ends. We never build a cross-event or cross-person face database.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't use your photos to train AI models.
- We don't show ads.
- We don't share your email with the photographer's marketing tools.
User-generated content & safety
Guests can comment on photos and submit photos to an event host. We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Every guest can report a photo or comment and block another user from inside the app or website; event hosts review submissions before they are published and act on reports. We aim to remove reported content and act on reports within 24 hours. Report abuse any time to snapziemail@gmail.com.
Watermarking
Images uploaded on free accounts carry a small βPhotoAlbumβ watermark in the corner. This is added on our servers when the image is stored.
Downloads and access-request info
When you download a photo, the photographer sees your name/email/phone on their guest list β that's the point. They only ever see people who actually downloaded something from their event.
Cookies & local storage
We use a single local storage entry per event to remember your download session for 30 days so you don't have to re-enter your contact info on return visits. No third-party trackers.
Data retention & deleting your account
Photos stay for as long as the photographer keeps the event. Your access-request info is deleted when the event is deleted.
You can delete your PhotoAlbum account and all associated data at any time:
- In the mobile app: Profile β Delete account.
- On the website: sign in, go to Edit profile β Delete account.
- Or request it: visit photo.ffetrader.com/delete-account or email snapziemail@gmail.com β we confirm within 48 hours.
Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, your collections, likes and comments; if you are a photographer it also deletes your events and their photos.
Children
PhotoAlbum is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.
Security
Passwords are BCrypt-hashed. Downloads are signed by short-lived tokens. Traffic is TLS end-to-end. Report anything suspicious to snapziemail@gmail.com.
