1. What PhotoAlbum is
PhotoAlbum is a service for photographers to share event photos with guests. The photographer ("Photographer") creates events; anyone with the join code ("Guest") can view and download released photos.
2. Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your password safe.
- One account per person.Don't share credentials — use the invite feature in the photographer console to bring co-photographers in.
- If you spot unauthorised activity, email snapziemail@gmail.comand we'll help you regain control.
3. Content ownership
Photographers retain full copyright to every photo they upload. PhotoAlbum gets a narrow, non-exclusive licenceto host and serve the photos for the purpose of running the service — that's it.
Guests may download released photos for personal use. Republishing them commercially requires the photographer's written permission.
4. Acceptable use
- No illegal content — CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery, terrorist content, malware, etc.
- No harassment or targeted abuse via comments or event names.
- No scraping — access photos through the intended UI, not by hammering the API.
- No sub-leasing an account to third parties.
Violations get accounts and events suspended without refund.
5. Downloads and privacy
When Guests download a photo, their name/email/phone is shared with the Photographer of that event(this is the access-request contract). Guests must not use PhotoAlbum for events they haven't been invited to.
6. Availability
We aim for 99.5% monthly uptimebut don't guarantee it. Photographers should keep their own backups of critical events. In the rare event of data loss, our liability is capped at what you paid us in the last 12 months.
7. Cancelling
You can delete your account and any events you own at any time — either from the console or by emailing snapziemail@gmail.com. Guest contact info tied to that event is deleted at the same time.
8. Changes to these terms
We'll email account holders at least 30 days before any material change. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state we're based in. Disputes go to the local courts there.
